What should I take?
Comfortable footwear (we recommend closed shoes for some sections, and open footwear for others with the possibility of changing if you wish), a hat, sunscreen, a windbreaker, water and a mask.
Must a protocol be followed for health and sanitary reasons?
Where and when can tickets be purchased for the Timanfaya National Park on the tour ¨Volcanoes, The Green Lagoon and Saltflats¨?
Tickets can be purchased upon arrival at the Fire Mountains in Timanfaya National Park or in advance here. The Route of the Volcanoes bus ride and park tour are included in the entrance fee. At the meeting point, el Molino de Yaiza (Yaiza Windmill), you will be given all the information and recommendations on entrance fees and the advantages of getting vouchers, which can be purchased in advance clicking here. For your convenience you´re advised to acquire tickets or passes in advance. If you’re planning on purchasing a ticket or pass at the park ticket office, remember that the only form of payment accepted is cash. There is an ATM cash machine in the town of Yaiza.
Will a tour be canceled if not enough people sign up?
No, we love small groups.
Can the routes and trails be done in a wheelchair or with baby strollers and prams?
Our routes include sections that would be difficult to traverse in a wheelchair or pushing a stroller (a baby carrier would be better). Get in touch with us and we’ll come up with a customized route to better fit your needs.
Are pets allowed?
On the ¨Freetour – Lanzarote Connection¨ and the ¨Lanzarote Cultural¨ routes they are allowed on a leash. On the ¨Volcanoes, Green Lake and Salt Mines¨ tour they are not allowed since they are not permitted on Timanfaya National Park grounds.
How can I cancel my reservation?
Our excursions include free cancellation up to 24 hours prior to the purchased service, any time after that they will be subject to restrictions. See our cancellation policy.
What happens if I can’t find the meeting point?
Call our office at 00 34 653 86 92 55 and we will try to reach the guide so you can join the group.
What happens if we can’t follow the guide’s car?
The convoys will be comprised of 7 cars maximum covering short distances on roads with light traffic. The guide will keep an eye out to make sure all the cars are following behind at all times and will stop and wait should it be necessary. In any case, at the beginning of the excursion, you will be provided with the guide’s phone number in case of an emergency. You may also mark the route on Google Maps or your GPS.
How many of us will be on the tour?
Maximum 20 people.
Are the routes recommendable and adapted for elderly people or small children?
Our routes include low difficulty walking sections. They’re suitable for the elderly and small children. Using a baby carrier is recommendable. Strollers and prams are a no-go.
Are meals included?
Our tours and excursions always include a sampling or tasting session of local products, but meals are not included. Let us know if you have any food allergies.
Where and when can tickets be purchased for the camel ride on the tour ¨Volcanoes, The Green Lagoon and Saltflats¨?
You can purchase them at the camel rest area, where you can go for a ride, cash only accepted. You can also purchase them in advance here and use them any day you like. 6€ per person. Free of charge for small children who don´t occupy a seat.
