OVERVIEW
Every Sunday morning the island’s largest traditional market is held.
It is celebrated in the village of Teguise, which was the old capital of the island of Lanzarote from the 15th to the 19th century, declared a historical-artistic ensemble in the year 1985 and currently considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
We will have approximately 2 hours of free time to visit the market, where you will find numerous jobs of artisans and farmers on the island. In the heart of the historic centre, with its narrow streets, a beautiful central square, surrounded by buildings of interest, such as churches, palaces, museums, art galleries, shops and charming restaurants.
To conclude, we will visit the Cesar Manrique Foundation, a house like no other, built on five volcanic bubbles, which was designed by the architect and artist from Lanzarote César Manrique.
