OVERVIEW
Discover the most exciting locations in Lanzarote’s South.
We will move towards the Fire Mountains to visit the Timanfaya National Park, where we can enjoy geothermal demonstrations on the islet of Hilario. We will continue with the “Volcanoes Route” by bus, accompanied by the history of the eruptions that have occurred in Lanzarote in the 18th and 19th centuries.
We will stop in the fishing village of El Golfo to visit the Green Lagoon. We will continue to the most important wine-growing area of Lanzarote, La Geria, a unique example of how the local farmers have taken advantage of and adapted to cultivate vines.
They have shaped a unique landscape in the world (stop at a typical winery and tasting NOT included).
Return to the pick-up point between 13:30 and 14:30.

PICK- UP POINTS:
- Bus stop Hotel Barceló Active Club in Costa Teguise: If you dock at the port Muelle de Los Mármoles in Arrecife, the nearest point is the Hotel Barceló Active Club in Costa Teguise and the pickup time is at 8:45 am
- Parking Recinto Ferial in Arrecife: If you dock at the port of Muelle de Cruceros or Muelle de La Marina in Arrecife, the nearest point is at the entrance of the parking Recinto Ferial Arrecife (in front of the Island council "Cabildo de Lanzarote") at 8:55 am
- ◦ To go to these pickup points, we recommend taking a taxi (cost approximately 10€ per journey) as walking is 30-40 min approx.
- Visit to the Fire Mountains in Timanfaya National Park Geothermal experiments and Route of the Volcanoes by bus
- Walk around El Golfo Green Lagoon and black sand beach
- La Geria, a unique example of how the local farmers have taken advantage of and adapted to cultivate the vines.
- Return to the pick-up point between 13:30 and 14:30h.
